1. What LemonLawPath is
LemonLawPath provides document automation and general legal information: interactive tools, templates, checklists, and filing instructions related to state lemon laws. LemonLawPath is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.
2. Not legal advice; no guarantees
This is not legal advice. Lemon law is fact-specific — for advice about your own situation, talk to a licensed attorney in your state. LemonLawPath makes no eligibility determinations, gives no case strategy, and promises no outcomes. No attorney reviews anything on this site. You are responsible for verifying deadlines, fees, and filing requirements with the relevant state agency or court before filing. Quiz results compare your answers to published presumption tests; they are not determinations that you qualify, and deadline results are estimates from the dates you enter.
3. The $29 packet
The packet builder is a one-time $29 USD purchase — not a subscription. It unlocks the builder in the browser you paid from, where your documents are generated on screen for you to print or save as PDF; we don't store or email them. State, agency, and court filing fees are separate and paid to them, not to LemonLawPath. Payment is processed by Stripe. Questions: [email protected].
3a. Your documents are your responsibility
The documents contain the facts you enter, placed into templates. You are responsible for reviewing every statement, correcting anything that isn't accurate, and deciding whether, when, and where to sign, send, or file anything.
4. Attorney escalation
Safety-hazard defects, denied claims, missed or imminent deadlines, and ambiguous cases are flagged for attorney consultation. Nothing on this site overrides that guidance.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to circumvent the paywall, forge purchase verifications, or misrepresent the documents as prepared by an attorney.
6. No attorney–client relationship
Use of this site and purchase of the packet does not create an attorney–client relationship between you and LemonLawPath or anyone associated with it. No attorney reviews anything on this site, and no one here is acting as your lawyer.
7. No warranties; provided "as is"
LemonLawPath is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. State lemon laws change, agencies update their forms and fees, and deadlines are fact-specific — you are responsible for verifying deadlines, fees, forms, and filing requirements with the relevant state agency before you rely on anything here.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LemonLawPath and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or the packet, including a denied claim, a missed deadline, or an unsuccessful filing. If any liability is found despite this section, it is limited to the amount you paid for the packet ($29).
